Welcome to Casa Marilu III
Arrival: You will clear customs in Puerto Vallarta. There are always plenty of taxis or vans to take you out to the villa. Cost varies with the number of people, but it should run about $30 US. We are located on the south side of town, on the road to Mismaloya beach, exactly 2.8 km past the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel, about a 35 min. ride from the airport and half a km. before the la Jolla de Mismaloya Condominiums. It's a beautiful drive throught town and by the ocean.
Look for the Casa Marilu III sign off to the right, by the ocean, next to the sign for Villa Las Pentilde;as and Casa San Sebastian. The three villas are next to each other in a small cove, just of the main road, by the ocean.
Car rental: Available at the airport. Most major US companies are represented. If you are driving yourself, make sure you get directions to get to the south side of town.
Your villa: Upon arrival, Jose Luis, the houseman and his wife Laura, the cook, will welcome you with smiles as warm as the Mexican sunshine and offer you a cool margarita, guacamole dip and tortillas.
Your villa is fully equipped, beach towels included, but bring your own toiletries and CD's, although we have a very good selection of music, books and magazines. It's a Bose music system by the way, for great sound in the living area. A large Sony TV is in the living room; a Sony CD player is in the penthouse, together with a VHS and large Sony TV as well.
Electrical current is 110, so converts are not necessary. Long distance telephones and faxes are accessed by the houseman for credit card or collect calls, or you can pay the manager when you depart, though it's much easier to use your calling card. Each room has a phone and an extra line for internet hookup.
The phones at the villa are 011 52 322 228 0818 and 011 52 322 228 0813 (also fax)
The water is clean and can be drunk, although we also provide bottled water for you.
Staff: Jose Luis and Laura live in the villa in their separate private quarters. A maid comes in every day to help out.
